Carolyn Briggs RN, RM, Mothercraft Cert, Dip Comm Hlth Nursing (Cumberland), BA (Macq), MA (Macq), DN (UTS) FRCNA

Carolyn has been involved with CAFHNA since its inception in 1990 and has served on the Committee of the Association since then in a variety of roles. Carolyn was CAFHNA President from 2005 to Nov 2009 and is now the current president of the Australian Association of Maternal Child & Family Health Nurses (AAMCFHN).
Carolyn is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Health at the University of Technology Sydney. She is the course coordinator for the Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health Nursing for the Faculty, and her teaching interests cover primary health care, health promotion and child and family health. She is a member of the Centre for Midwifery, Child and Family Health in the faculty and her research interests include nursing practice in child and family health, health policy and nursing education.

Clinical Nurse Consultant, Child & Family Health, Northern Sydney Central Coast Health. Child & Family Health Nurse and member of CAFHNA since 1990.
Member of the CAFHNA Education – Sub Committee on several occasions during that period. Member of the CAFHNA General Committee for the last 7 years, now website co-ordinator and CAFHNA representative on the Australian Association Maternal Child & Family Health Nurses Board.
Jenni Jones RN, RM, M’Craft, ADCHN, Grad Dip Community Nursing, MN (Paeds) 
Clinical Nurse Consultant Child & Family Health and currently Vice President CAFHNA NSW (Inc). Is a CAFHNA NSW (Inc) representative on the Australian Association Maternal Child & Family Health Nurses (AAMCFHN) 2011 Conference committee . Currently Chair of CAFHNA Marketing Sub-Committee.
Joan Stort RN, RM, Grad Cert CFHN, Grad Cert Primary Health Care, Grad Cert Health Management
I have been working in Child & Family Health Nursing since 1992 and as a Nursing Unit Manager in Child & Family Health Nursing in the Wollongong LGA, South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health since 2002. I have been on the CAFHNA committee since 2007 previously chairing the Education Sub-Committee and now as Treasurer.
Julie Maddox RN, RM, CHFH, C Women’s Health, Masters in Clinical Leadership Nursing
Julie has been a long term member of CAFHNA. In 2006 she joined the General Committee and has been the secretary ever since. Julie is a Clinical Nurse Consultant at Tresillian Family Care Centres, providing clinical leadership in the promotion and application of evidence based practice, supporting professional development, clinical supervision for nurses and strongly advocates the role of CFHNs as a speciality.
Julie Roberts RN, RM, Grad Cert HLTH (Flinders University)
Julie began nursing in 1974. Her clinical work was predominately paediatrics for the next 13yrs, followed by midwifery and Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 in Child & Family Health. She is an accredited immuniser and a Family Partnership Facilitator. She also has a certificate 1V in training and assessment and is a qualified preceptor for new staff and students. Julie works in the remote outback where referral services are limited this is her third year as the remote area representative on the CAFHNA committee.
Deborah Nemeth RN, RM, Grad Cert CFHN, IBCLC, Grad Cert Adult Ed & Training (UTS),Grad Dip Vocational Education & Training (UTS), MEd Adult Education(UTS)
Debbie has been a member of the CAFHNA General Committee since 2002, including coordinating education activities as Chair of CAFHNA Education Sub-committee and then moving onto current position as Chair of CAFHNA Editorial Sub-committee. In November 2009 Debbie took on the role of CAFHNA president.
Debbie is the Director of Clinical Services at Karitane, involved in clinical leadership and service planning, advocating for quality evidence-based services to address the broad range of needs of families within a variety of contexts. She is currently a member of the NSW Children & Young People’s Health Priority Taskforce.
Sue Mapletoft RN, RM, Cert CFHealth (NSWCN), MNsg, Infant, Child and Youth Health (UWS), IBCLC, MCN, MCAFHNA
Current position: Nurse Educator, Child and Family Health, College of Nursing, Burwood. Member of CAFHNA since 1992. Currently a member of the CAFHNA Committee and the CAFHNA Editorial Sub-Committee.
Ann Simpson, RN, RM, CFHN, IBCLC
Employed at Karitane for 9 years, 5 of those years as a Nurse Educator, has worked in the C&FH field for 21 years, across a variety of health care settings including: Child & Family Health clinics and Family Care Centres. Ann been a member of CAFHNA since1993. Elected to the CAFHNA committee in 2007, selected chair of the education sub-committee in 2009
Anne Mc Kennzie, RN, RM, IBCLC, Grad Cert CFHN, Grad Cert Primary Health Care, Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Nursing (Clinical Leadership) Masters in Nursing (Clinical Leadership).
Anne has worked in Community Health for 28 years, as a Generalist Community Nurse, Primary Health Care Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Clinical Nurse Educator and she is currently a Clinical Nurse Consultant for CFHN in SSWAHS. Anne joined the CAFHNA General Committee at the 2008 AGM and is a member of the CAFHNA Education Sub-committee, treasurer of the NSW Lactation College Inc since 2007, member of NSW Nurses Association and College of Nursing.
