MembershipAs soon as practicable after receiving an application for membership, the Secretary shall refer the applicant to the Committee which shall determine whether to approve or to reject the application. Where the Committee determines to approve an application for membership the Secretary shall notify the applicant of that approval and shall enter the applicant’s name on the register of members. Upon the entry of the applicant’s name on the register of members the applicant becomes a member of the Association. If the Committee determines not to approve an application for membership the Secretary shall notify the applicant of that non-approval and shall refund the amount tendered with the application. Please note the CAFHNA Committee meets monthly therefore, an applicant should expect notification of membership could take up to 6 weeks. Membership services may be cancelled in accordance with the rules of the CAFHNA Constitution. A copy of the CAFHNA Constitution may be viewed in the Members Only section of this website. Membership fees paid up-to- date are non refundable. For membership enquiries, please contact us.
General For CAFHNA workshops and other CAFHNA events, the cancellation and refund policy will be as stated on the event registration form. CAFHNA reserves the right to cancel a workshop or event at any time prior to commencement. In the event of CAFHNA cancelling a workshop, a full refund will be made. When a registered participant’s cancellation is received greater than 7 days before the scheduled date for the workshop or event the fee will be fully refundable. If the cancellation is received within 7 days of the scheduled date the full fee will be forfeited or a replacement participant can be sent as an alternative.
